Arca

The project involves the complete renovation of the Arca Building, adapting it to the new administrative and public service needs of the Basque Government. The project reorganizes access and circulation, clearly differentiating the spaces intended for workers and users of Zuzenean, and creates open, flexible and bright work floors.

The project maintains and enhances the existing architecture, incorporating new solutions in a way that respects its character and heritage protection. Improving the building envelope, incorporating aerothermal energy, photovoltaic energy and heat recovery systems, along with monitoring consumption, allows for the creation of a highly energy-efficient, comfortable and low-maintenance building.

The result seeks to update the building through a contained intervention: more accessible, efficient and flexible, and with more open and friendly workspaces.
